Programme Details

The online programme will begin on 30 September 2024 with an introduction event. Mentoring will begin after this and continue until 25 October, you will then have a further two weeks to draft your proposal for a Master’s-level research project in order to receive feedback from your mentor.

During the core four-week programme, participants will benefit from:

  • Meetings and support from a PhD student mentor
  • Group sessions hosted by staff and academics, focusing on key elements of the research proposal
  • Information, advice and guidance sessions hosted by the Postgraduate Widening Participation team, introducing participants to Cambridge, and allowing them to hear from MPhil students

To benefit from the programme, where possible we encourage all participants to attend these sessions live. Recordings of the sessions will be circulated to those who are unable to do so.
