A supposedly fun thing you might never do again: English Faculty holds David Foster Wallace Day

The Faculty of English will host a day of readings and discussions from the great American novelist David Foster Wallace, on Tuesday 12 January.

Best known for his lengthy and "metamodern" novel Infinite Jest, American author, essayist and Professor David Foster Wallace is one of the most influential figures in literary postmodernism.

On Tuesday 12 January, the Faculty of English will host a day of readings and discussions devoted to Wallace and his works and influence. 

All are welcome and the event is free of charge. 

The David Foster Wallace Day will be held in the Faculty's Drama Studio from 10:00-5:00 Tuesday 12 January.
